Name: Tim LeRoy Cox

Spouse: Holly A Cox

Tim and Holly Cox will be celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary on July 21st of this year. They met in 1992 when Holly was 14 and Tim was 15. Tim says that from the moment he saw Holly he know he was going ato marry her.

They have 5 children:
Tyler- 13 in July. He is their social bug. He is always planning get togethers with his friends. He enjoys Boy Scouts and is looking forward to a two week long campout this summer. He is a great artist and extremely smart. This last semester he received awards for "Most improved GPA" and Perfect attendance. Tim and Holly are very proud of him.

Chantelle- 10 years old. She is a very kind, loving and helpful girl. She is always the one to stick up for the underdog or stay in at recess to help her teacher. She is a talented writer. Her imagination knows no boundaries! She has stories she has written and illustrated EVERYWHERE!

Jordan -9 in August. He is a more quite and reserved child. Always deep in thought. He will most likely be found with a big thick book in his hand, or outside collecting bugs and an occasional snake. He is in the second grade this year. Jordan has started to enjoy Cub Scouts and is working toward his Video Gaming belt loop (yes that is REALLY one they can earn) He has tested gifted and is a vat of useful knowledge and trivial info.

Alexis-7 years old. She is a silly, loveable and thoughtful girl. She loves to write songs and poems. She is constantly making her family laugh with hillarious things she says and does. Don't let her long blonde hair and big blue eyes fool you either, she is a tomboy through and through. She can outclimb any boy up a tree. At the end of the day she will have more dirt on her than any other boy. She also has a strong girly side. She can accessorize like nobody's business and her design sense is amazing.

Madisyn-6 in July. She is a small spitfire of a girl. She is VERY independant. She can be found playing alone more often than not. She loves to pretend-play house and dolls. She also loves to play on the computer and amazes her parents with her computer knowledge. She loves puzzles and things that kids her age think is hard. She and Jordan are a lot alike. They play together more than any of the other kids. And yes, that means she is out snake hunting as well. She is sometimes difficult because she doesn't like to be dirty and she likes everything to be perfect-at 5 that's impossible, so you see the dilemma?! She is a cuddler though and likes to let you know how much she loves you by bringing in handfuls of colorful weeds and drawing great pictures! She will be 6 in July.

Tim and Holly and their family currently live in American Fork, UT. They recently moved here to be closer to family and friends. They enjoy the small town feel and being in a neighborhood with lots of young families and kids.

Tim is a great artist. He enjoys helping Holly design the Jewelry she makes and sells. Holly also writes and has been getting the courage up to do some freelance writing.

Tim is currently going to school to become and RN and Hospital Administrator. This is a BIG change from construction, but it is what he has always wanted to do. He hopes to be able to work in the NICU at some point. Having our last 3 kids in there really opens up your eyes.

Holly is at hope with the kids. This next year when all the kids are in full time school she is thinking about either going back to school, or finding a job. Holly volunteers every week at the NICU with a parent support network. She helps families deal with the issues of having preemie babies in the NICU.

Both Tim and Holly have helped out with the Heart2Home Foundation since they remodeled Holly's parent's house last year. They just finished a home this past week for a family that lost their 9 year old daughter to the swine flu and two months later their home burnt down. They love to help and offer service whenever they can.

Special Hobbies or Interests- As a family they love spending time in the outdoors. Anything from the park to sledding in the winter and swimming in the summer.

Favorite Sports team and why- BYU of course! Last year they even had the kids brainwashed, last year when BYU and Utah were playing, the kids got into a friendly tuff with the neighborhood, most of them were UTE fans, and their kids couldn't have that so they tried to convert the poor lost souls. If we had to choose a favorite sport it would be football.

Favorite Vacation Spot- Every year we go up to Idaho to a cabin and spend time together. We hike, grill, play games, go 4-wheeling, and chase cows. Tim and Holly also take time out as a couple and go to Lake Powell in the summer.

What trait or characteristic do you have that most resembles on of our parents- Tim is a very hard worker! He definately gets that from Dad. He is very service oriented and a dedicated spouse. He would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. He helps complete strangers if he sees they are in need. I think that come from Mom.

Name: Hal Williams Cox

Spouse: Amy Rose Harward Cox

Hal and Amy were married Aug 25, 2007. They first met in highschool and spent a lot of time together but never admitted their true feelings to one another. After highschool they went their seperate ways. They each married someone else and had three kids each. Years later after those marriages ended they were reunited at a football game where Hal's two oldest boys were playing and Amy's two older girls were cheer leaders. Hal noticed her at one of the games as she was cleaning up her blanket and gathering her stuff to leave. He stood behind her like he was waiting for her to leave and she politely said, "I am cleaning up and will be out of your way soon" Hal sarcastically replied,"It's about time your game is over!" Amy turned to give him the "what for" and realized who it was and smiled and gave him a huge hug. From that moment on they talked at the games every weekend, began dating and were eventually married.

Hal and Amy have a "Yours and Mine" family they refer to as the " Cox Bunch". The oldest is Brittany Hooker, age 13; Chelsea Hooker, age 10; Carson Hooker, 5 in June; Mitchell Cox, age 13; Corbin Cox, age 11; and Kourtney Cox, age 8. Mitchell, Corbin and Kourtney live with their mother in Spanish Fork, UT. They are all doing very well in school and sports. Mitchell and Corbin play football, basketball and tried hockey. Kourtney is Hal's little princess who thinks she is everyone's boss and uses Dad as the enforcer. Brittany and Chelsea are in dance. This year Brittany made her school dance company. Both Chelsea and Brittany made the cheer squads for their respective 6th and 8th grade football leagues. Carson is a "daddy's boy" and can't wait for Hal to return from his tour of duty in Kuwait. He looks forward to a day of playing video games and McDonalds with daddy. He is in preschool and doing well.

Hal and Amy currently live in Lehi, Ut about 10 blocks from Richie and Angela.
For the past 16 years Hal has served in the Navy Reserves and done law enforcement. He is currently serving in Kuwait at the Naval base. Amy is a stay at home mom but also volunteers as a cheer coach for her daughters. Together they enjoy working out, and watching scary movies. They love to be scared and Hal especially loves scaring Amy because that means she sleeps closer to him at night.

Hobbies: As a family they love to go to Seven Peaks water park in the summer. Hal and Amy like to go do target practice with shooting guns. They like to try and outshoot each other. They both enjoy UFC fights.

Sports Fan: True to Cox tradition, Hal is a true blue BYU fan. He even has his locker in Kuwait decorated with BYU logo's .

Memories: Hal's favorite memories are of times as a kid when they used to buy a bucket of chicken at KFC and load up in the blue Ford with the iron rack and go in the canyon for a sunday drive. Another is getting cap guns on the fourth of July morning and going to the parade and building a scafolding sitting area on University Ave.

Traits: The main traits that Hal has inherited from mom and dad, as anyone who knows him would agree, is his short fuse and huge explosion courtesy of Dad. Hal believes the military has taken that and put it to use in a good and productive way. He has become a great leader. He also attributes his strong work ethic to Dad. He is currently up for promotion as Chief Petty Officer in the Navy. Many people try and never come close in a 20 year career to achieve that and after only 8 years he has many endorsing his chiefs package. However, Hal is not all crash band and fireworks, he has learned to listen and give advice to help others. Mom's big heart had rubbed off on him and he is known as a protector. He hates it when people pick on others and loves to jump in the middle and defend those who may not be able to defend themselves. He believes that is the biggest reason he volunteered to come to Kuwait and serve. He hates to leave his family behind but he knows they are proud of him and support what he and America stand for. He and his family are making the sacrifice for our nation and others who cannot. So in closing Hal reminds us to love our families and never let one moment pass you but without taking the time to hold your spouse and play with the kids. There are men and women who can't and have given their lives so we all can! And support your troops!

Penny and Ben's Family

Penny is married to Ben Rodriguez. They have been married for 12 years and were introduced by Penny's best friend.

They have two children. Adam is 12 and loves to play sports. He gets his size from his dad Ben and his feistiness from Penny. Jayde is 9 and she loves school and enjoys playing soccer and basketball.

Adam plays football as a D-end and fullback, he plays all positions in baseball including pitcher, he has recently taken up basketball and plays center.

Jayde along with soccer and basketball wants to get into softball like her mom. Ben and Penny play on a coed softball team together.

They have a home in Springville where they enjoy the quiet small town feel.

Ben works as a lead at Interwest Safety where he makes all of the signs for the new freeways, so if you get lost, you know who to blame. Penny works at Nestle where Gail's husband, Hardy works. If you have not figured it out yet they work to feed their passion which is sports.

When they are not playing sports they are watching sports, their favorite teams are: The San Francisco 49ers or the Carolina Panthers, The San Francisco Giants and the Hometown Utah Jazz. Adam has some relation to a coach for the UofU Football team, we try not to hold that against him when he wears their colors.

On the rare weekend when they are not into sports in one way or another they like to go fishing, hunting, 4-wheeling and camping.

One of Penny's favorite memories growing up was when mom and dad took over the Silver Fox Campground and Penny and Gail raided the store and took all of the candy. She thinks they may have gotten in trouble for that.

Penny has several traits from mom and dad, she definitely got mom's height. She also got dad's feistiness and conviction to always work hard.
